In its first meeting at the current board session, the Real Estate Development Committee at Asharqia Chamber selected Hamed Bin Mohammed Bin Hamri as its Chairman, and Saleh Bin Salman Al Dosari as a Vice President.
The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi opened the meeting, in the presence of the Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel. It resulted of receiving Hamed bin Mohammed bin Hamri 13 votes out of 29 votes, while Mohammed Al-Babtain received 12 votes, and Imad Aldiljan gained 4 votes only.
In the vote for the post of vice president, the committee member Saleh bin Salman al-Dosari received 20 votes, while the member of the committee Omar al-Osis received 9 votes out of 29 votes participated in the vote, which was conducted by secret ballot.
During the welcoming speech, the President of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, stressed on the big role that awaits the private sector in the coming years. He stated, " Our wise government's approach is to communicate with the sector and take its views on any new system issued, and take all its observations and suggestions, which puts us all in front of a great responsibility awaits us in the service of our homeland." He expressed his hope for a greater role of the Real Estate Committee in serving the national economy in general and the Eastern Region in particular.
